Custom bars + stretch — already have your print?
We build stretcher bars to its exact size and wrap it. (Got your own bars? We can work with those too.)
How much does canvas printing cost?
Print and stretch is priced by the finished surface of the canvas — the face plus the four wrapped sides. It starts at $0.34 a square inch and the rate steps down as the canvas gets bigger, so a large piece costs less per inch than a small one.
CAD at our standard 1.25″ depth — deeper bars add a little. Pickup in Winlaw and local delivery are free; shipping elsewhere in Canada is $30 CAD.
Print-only and stretching a print you already have are quoted separately — send us the details and we’ll come back with a price.

What happens to the edges of a canvas print?
When canvas wraps the bars, the edges show. Our signature finish — the Continued Edge, the WinPrint way — carries your image right around the sides, so the picture keeps going instead of folding or stopping at a border. It's the one we reach for first.
Prefer something simpler? We also do a solid wrap in a single clean colour. A mirrored edge is available on request.

Where are your canvas prints made?
Every stretcher bar is built by hand in the shop at The Sandbox — we don't order them in. The print, the bars, and the stretch all happen under one roof.

Every month we produce a limited edition for a featured artist — the same printing, the same cedar, the same hands. If you've seen the gallery, you've seen our work.
Meet the artistsPick up at the shop in Winlaw, or we'll deliver anywhere between Nelson, Castlegar, and most of the Slocan Valley. Beyond that, shipping elsewhere in Canada is $30 CAD per canvas.
